Many of our clients ask us to train their staff in the IDLS process, then continue to supervise their trainers throughout the materials development process. The benefit of this approach is to:

• Create a schedule that keeps the development process on track, and
• Supervise and critique the work throughout the project so that it meets the high standards we set for guaranteeing learning.

ESF can supervise your development process at:

1. Your Site

We will set up a development schedule and come to your site periodically to review each step of the IDLS process.

For example, upon completion of the Task Analysis, we will review, make suggestions for improvement, and approve your developers' Task Analyses. We will follow this review process for each of the remaining IDLS phases: Performance Measures, Instructional Development, and Validation. We will critique each phase of your developers' Instructional Modules: Workbooks, Skills Labs, and Instructor Materials.

2. Our Site

We can review your developers' training materials at our site rather than coming to your facility. We will use the same basic approach in the method described above, except, that in this method, your developers will email, fax, or mail us the products of each phase of the development process for our review. We will email, fax, or mail the developers our comments and suggestions for improvement, and approve them when completed satisfactorily.
